Hoff's Reunion Info

Here is some information about our Hoff Family Reunion this June and how to make reservations at the Welk Resort in Branson, Mo. The arrival day is Friday, June 18, 2010 with a check-in time of 4:00 pm. Departure date is Sunday, June 20th at 10:00 am.

Our group rate: Single Occupancy $264/ Double $298/ Triple $333/ Quad $368 per room for the two nights/ Add a child 12-17 yr. $36/ 4-11 yr. $30. This rate includes taxes and gratuities. These rates also include breakfast on 6/19 & 6/20 and the banquet meal on Friday, June 18th at 6pm. You may stay additional nights (up to two nights prior and/or after the group arrival) for $89 per night but breakfast and taxes are not included in this rate.

Reservations and Deposits: Each family is requested to make their own reservation. Individual reservations require a $100.00 deposit per package at time of reservation. Deposits are non-refundable 30 days prior to arrival. Cancellation of reservation must be made 72 hours prior to arrival or one night’s lodging will be charged.

We have lined up a photographer to take a group photo of our clan and he is available to take individual family photos also. We are currently working with him on a day and time when these can be taken.

As this year’s host family, we are requesting $15 from each adult to cover the additional costs such as snacks, wine for the banquet, postage, etc. If any money is left over it will be forwarded to the next reunion’s host family in 2012. Your personal expenses will be for your transportation to Branson, photographs you purchase from the photographer, and entertainment.

If you are flying there is a small airport in Branson (AirTran Airways & SunCountry Airlines) as well as one in Springfield, Mo (Delta, United, American & Allegiant). The Springfield Airport is about 30 minutes north of Branson. If you prefer, you can fly into St. Louis or Kansas City and rent a car for the 3 to 4 hour drive to Branson.

Now for the Fun part:

We will have a banquet meal at 6 pm on your first day of arrival. This will be a great time to visit and plan your activities in Branson which certainly has lots and lots of activities. You will be receiving a booklet in the mail around March listing all the great things to do. Any individual event reservations may be made through the concierge at the hotel.

The Welk Resort itself has some beautiful grounds to take your daily stroll, swimming pools, a restaurant, a lounge/bar, fitness room, game room and a miniature golf course. You can visit their website at www.welkresortbranson.com. Across the street is an 18 hole golf course and nearby are lakes, shopping and shows.
